A recent move was a brand new black Ford Puma Gen-E, the fully electric Puma, collected in Blackpool and delivered to a Ford dealer in Walsall.

From the outside it looks like any other Puma. Lift the bonnet and the difference is obvious. There’s no engine, just a storage compartment sitting where you’d expect one, with the electric motor mounted underneath it. The charging cable travels bagged up in the boot, ready for its new owner.

New electric cars leave the factory in transport mode, and this one was no different. The dash showed 46% charge and 96 miles of range. That’s plenty for moving it around a yard, but it’s no reason to put delivery miles on a car nobody has driven yet. On the trailer, it arrives exactly as it left: no miles added, no stone chips, no hunting for a charger halfway down the M6.

EVs are a big part of our work now, for dealers and private buyers alike. Before WS Logistics, Will spent twenty years as a Peugeot Master Technician, and he is a qualified high voltage technician for electric and hybrid vehicles. That means your EV is loaded and secured by someone who understands what’s underneath it, from the battery to the high voltage system.
Whether it’s a single new car to a dealer or a used EV you’ve bought from the other end of the country, we can move it on open transport, fully insured, with live tracking for private customers from collection to delivery.
